THE STORY SO FAR...

Acrylic painting to oil painting...now just starting on the next phase of artist products...

Painting had been an occasional distraction from work until moving house in 2016. More space, beautiful countryside and wanting a better work-life balance with two young children spurred me on to try to make the career change from analyst to artist.

I started in acrylics, painting a range of subjects from landscapes and botanical to figures and cars. I've now moved on to painting exclusively in oils, choosing subjects that incorporate inclement weather, gas lamps or night time cityscapes to create the atmospheric paintings I strive for.

Most recently I have looked to branching out into creating artist products. So far I have had greetings cards and coasters printed from the original artworks. This has created a further new style for me of 'cute' paintings which lend themselves to greetings cards and other products.
